OTHER: The Compass Plant is a long lived prairie plant native to the US & Canada. It is named for its leaves that often point themselves towards the north & south like a compass. The large 3 – 4” flowers are showy, & they have long bloom time. They attract bees including bumble bees, butterflies including an occasional Monarch, & birds & small mammals like to eat the seeds.
