OTHER: Prairie Dropseed is a very ornamental prairie bunchgrass native to the US & Canada. It grows in clumps or mounds of arching foliage with long narrow grass-like leaves. It is a good ground cover for naturalizing or prairie settings, being long lived & deer resistant. Dropseed is also great for rock gardens, containers, or borders. This grass is tolerant of many soils including rocky & clay as well as adverse conditions. It can tolerate moist areas, but also tolerates drought & dryness so well it's used as a "green rooftop" plant. The fragrant nodding fall seed heads attract songbirds.

As someone who does not have a green thumb, I was not clear on what surface sow means. I thought sow meant harvesting. So after non-germination I contacted seller who said I didn't follow instructions. I asked if I can get a replacement and got a generic "you fool, you didn't follow instructions" email. It would have been better customer service for them to send replacements at a discounted price since the $18 I spent was money flushed down the toilet -- albeit even if I was at fault. But, clearly they don't wish to keep a customer for future purchases.
