Cold stratified for 4 weeks. Then surface sowed and kept outdoor for 2 weeks. Seedlings are starting to emerge! Germination rate ~30% for now but I am pretty sure it will go above 50%. They do germinate (poorly) without the cold stratification period. Now I have to keep tons of seedlings going because it is too soon to tell the leaf color. But I am happy with the germination rate!
