OTHER: Billion Dollar Grass is the fastest growing millet. It’s crops can mature as soon as 6 weeks in warm climates. It is cultivated largely in Eastern Asia & India. The grains are used for livestock fodder and making beer. The gluten-free seeds can be cooked like rice, boiled for porridge, or ground into flour. This Millet is not picky about the type of soils its grown in, & will tolerate anything from sandy soil to clay. For this reason, they are also used to control erosion. The plants are quite ornamental, with large 5 – 8” arching seed heads. They are beautiful in dried arrangements. Millet is also a great way to attract a wide variety of birds to your yard! They adore the seeds & look too cute bouncing on the arching stems while they snack away.

So I was really scared at first because I had lost my order of seeds from this company. Well I had found my order in the dryer, so I had washed and dried all of my seed packets. Thank God they were in little plastic zip baggies all of them stayed shut except for one. Being a beginner gardener I thought I’d completely jacked up my seeds….I literally cried. Like, ball cried. I have 6 kids & little extra money for myself so yeah I was in the dumps. But, considering I spent quite a bit of money I thought why not plant a few and see if they will still sprout. Y’all…they did!!! A few are already sprouting! Geeez idk how they made a full wash cycle in cold water and a full dry cycle on high for 60 min. They’re determined to make it lol …but y’all, to save on emotional stress try to avoid washing/drying your seeds.
