OTHER: The Chocolate Vine is a fast growing ornamental with edible fruit. The beautiful flowers are fragrant with a sweet light chocolate scent! The fruit pods are 5" long & look like bluish-purple cucumbers! The pulp of the fruit is eaten, & can be enjoyed raw, dried, or used to make juice, wine, or jelly. The pulp is gelatinous & has a sweet delicate tropical flavor, slightly similar to coconut milk. These lovely plants can grow in full shade, & will tolerate rocky, sandy, or clay soil. The Chocolate Vine’s leaves are evergreen in warmer climates. The leaves are used to make a tea, & the stems are used for basket weaving.

From this seller I purchased Blue star sea holly, Chocolate vine, Rosemary, Flat leaf parsley, Creeping thyme, Lemon thyme, Dukat dill, English lavender and Dark opal basil. The parsley, lavender, creeping thyme, basil and dill all yielded an acceptable amount of sprouts. The chocolate vine, blue star sea holly, lemon thyme and rosemary did not produce a single sprout in multiple batches. I have grown many plants from seeds successfully, and with multiple batches I’m confident that it was not operator error. Maybe a bad batch of seeds. I was really excited about the blue star and the chocolate vine. I am hoping that the seller will make it right. If that happens, I will change my review accordingly.
